This lively story is an excellent one to reach for when you're in the mood for a sweet, interactive time with your little one. The rhythm of the text bounces along as sweetly as the baby on the pages, and the artwork is made up of a lovely collection of soft pastels. The exploration of different body parts in the story will also build your child's vocabulary through repetition.
As you and your two year old read this book, you will want to enthusiastically participate in the story's action. When the characters in the book kiss the baby, you won't be able to resist showering your reading buddy with little hugs and kisses. They will also get excited about pointing to the body parts in the book and saying them out loud.
This book incorporates most of my niece Audrey’s favorite things such as tickling, peek-a-boo, rubber duckies, and bunny rabbits. She finds this book so much fun and and interesting that it holds her attention for a long time. Audrey also loves to learn more of the words in the book. If you're interested in an afternoon of laughing and connecting, this is book is one of my top picks.
