Babies love playing peekaboo. This is a fun board book with baby-appropriate touch-and-feel elements, simple text, and flaps to lift enhance the game with your small child.
In the classic touch-and-feel, lift-the-flap style, this is a great book to read to your baby. Not only will the baby recognize the beloved game of peekaboo but also the photographs of toys and stuffed animals. Short and simple text ensures that your baby won't lose interest in the book and interactive elements will keep his or her little hands busy. Each page features colorful photographs of babies on a basic white background, which makes the colors pop.
Each page follows the "where is it hiding?" format that encourages babies to lift the flap and find the toy. Once the toy is located, the baby can feel the soft fur of the kitten or fuzzy ears of the teddy bear. The large flaps make it easy for the baby to turn the pages and the sturdy board book is perfect for young ones who don't understand how to be gentle with books yet. When your baby reaches his or her first birthday and begins to talk, this book gives you many common objects to point out to your child to help increase their vocabulary.
I love how the book gives babies a chance to play a simple memory game and practice using their fingers to turn the page. It's a great early addition to your child's at-home library and is one that he or she may revisit throughout the next few years. I've seen many early preschool age children pull out their board books from their younger years to read again. The basic text even allows these older children to read the story to by themselves.

"I absolutely love this new book, Baby Loves Peekaboo that we received! I picked this book for my son's birthday because it had all the elements he loves - babies, touch and feel, peekaboo, flaps, and its a board book! I love that they combined them all in one book!""And he did love it just as much as I thought he would! He loves opening the flaps and seeing the hiding person or animal! He loves to touch the soft fur of the animals and point to and kiss the babies!"
I choose this book because Princess has several others similar to it. She loves the flaps and the touch and feel.
