This is a phenomenal book that has received over a dozen awards and nominations, including the coveted Caldecott Honor. The story is about a barn full of very unique cows that learn how to type. What follows is a cute farmer versus an animal standoff that results in the animals getting their wish, electric blankets. The plot is funny and engaging and will thoroughly charm you.

The story creates an interesting shift of power between the animals and the farmer. This is an excellent book to read out loud, since there is so much great dialogue.

My nephew Joshua absolutely loved this book when I read it to him. It provoked him to ask a lot of "why" questions about the story. We got a chance to do a lot of laughing that day, but we also discussed the book which increased his comprehension of it. This critically acclaimed book is very deserving of all of its accolades, and I believe you and your child will give it your seal of approval.

I was introduced to this book at my first Daycare Job, and thought it was so cute. Ever since the Daycare closed I have been trying to find the book, but could not find it anywhere. But Little One Books has it. I was so excited when I received it.

I decided to get this bookbecause I knew the stage production was coming to the Michigan State Theater in Ann Arbor and we were planning on attending the show. This was such a fun book to read. My boys giggled as we read through the hilariously outrageous situation that Farmer Brown finds himself in after throwing out his typewriter. Instead of cows making milk, he hears"Click, Clack, Clickety, Clack Moo" all day long as his cows begin to make outrageous demands in exchange for their services and so begins the strike on Farmer Browns farm.
