Nothing can stop little dinosaur-not talking grownups, spaghetti, or even bath time. But what happens when he faces the biggest challenge of all.bedtime? With spare text and irresistible dinosaur roaaars, little dinosaurs will be begging for this book to be read again and again.

The cover lets you know right away that this book is going to be creative and fun -a Dinosaur in a bed shirt and a toothbrush could mean little else. A simple drawing of a big red dinosaur fills the whole first page with the giant fun giant words, "ROAR! I'M A DINASOUR! ROAR! NOTHING CAN STOP ME!" And he proceeds throughout the book to attack any challenge he faces, whether a pile of leaves, boring talking grown-ups, or even the dreaded bed time! The pictures are generally simplistic with solid colored backgrounds, focusing on the dinosaur in all his glory. The spaghetti is set in as a collage with a real picture of spaghetti, to mix up the picture media a bit.

Your child's imagination will immediately be stoked by the fun phrasing of the book, making it easy for them to copy, repeat, and imagine themselves as a dinosaur stomping around the house facing challenges - the cat, the vacuum, the toothbrush...nothing will stop them! The more theatrical and animated you make the reading, the more fun your child will have. This provides a great 'plan b' for those nights where it's difficult to get your child settled on the idea of bedtime; after reading this book you can ask them to be a dinosaur and 'win' a fight against tooth brushing, putting on their pajamas, kissing mom and dad goodnight, and closing their eyes. Can they do it as well as the dinosaur? Let's find out!

My two year old friend Kyle thinks he is a dinosaur already, so this book was a natural fit for him. He wants his parents to read it to him every night, and he provides all the "ROAR"s when queued. Kyle's dad reads the book with more enthusiasm than his mom, and has been known to improvise and add new challenges that the star dinosaur has overcome, so Kyle will bring the book to his dad and crawls into his lap every evening, ready to bond over dinosaurs.
