This large, vibrant board book follows Dora on another one of her adventures. The story is exciting and engaging and introduces some of the favorite characters from the Dora series. With text in both English and Spanish, the book is a great choice to introduce your child to new words.

Building these language skills at an early age is very important, and Dora teaches these skills in a fun and engrossing way. Dora is a popular children's character, so it's likely that your child is already aware of the little explorer. When I volunteered with pre-school aged kids, they always wanted to read from the Dora books. About half of them spoke Spanish. The book gave all of them a chance to learn new words and to become more familiar with another language. This is a great title to reach for to encourage more confidence when it comes to different languages.
