This darling and simple book for babies introduces all sorts of different cultures with various photographs of babies. On each of the 17 pages, there is a close up photo of the baby dressed in the customary dress of their culture. The book promotes diversity and highlights areas of the world that are probably unfamiliar.

Your child will love to look at the photographs of all of the different babies. Since the text is kept very simple, your child will be calmed by the sound of your voice, and not be overwhelmed by too much information. The small scale board book will also encourage them to turn pages on their own.

Since this is a board book, my nephew, Joshua, enjoyed exploring it mostly with his teeth and hands. We read it over and over and he really liked to look at all the different babies. He recognized himself in other babies, and it was a great way to demonstrate at a young age that babies around the world have a lot in common.
