Olivier Dunrea's Gossie and Gertie is an adorable story about two geese who are best friends. Though they really enjoy each other's company, they suffer from the same issues that many toddlers go through with friends. The story about tantrums, and wanting what others have will be familiar to your little one, and they will see the value in accepting what you have and being grateful for your friends.

The simple story will be thoroughly entertaining for your little one. They will relate to the subject matter and will not be overwhelmed by too much text. The book also has very cute illustrations, and the board book format will be sturdy enough to stand up to any strength tests that your child puts it through.

This book combined two things that my niece, Audrey, loves: animals and arguing. She always laughs hysterically when characters are involved in goofy arguments, and the silliness between Gossie and Gertie was right up her alley. The author really understood what makes children laugh prior to writing this fantastic little book.
