Watch the world of nature come alive during a vibrant, interactive walk with Maisy. It's a beautiful day, and Maisy is setting out on a nature walk. Little readers can pull the tabs to see a yellow flower unfurl, a snail poke out of its shell, a duckling hatch, a frog leap, and more.

This book is a perfect introduction to nature for toddlers who are just beginning to explore the world around them. The familiar face of Maisy takes kids on a journey through nature complete with flowers, bugs and animals as well as an interactive pull-the-tab experience. With bold, colorful illustrations and simple, child-friendly language, this is a story that your young child will simply adore and want to read over and over!

Each page features a pull-the-tab format that encourages kids to interact with the book and children will love discovering various hidden treasure, such as the duckling hiding in the egg or the bee hiding in the yellow tulip. A simple find-the-object game is also included on each page and asks the child to find nature objects, such as seeds, a butterfly or flowers.

While reading this book to Emily, the three-year-old I babysit, I found that even older children can appreciate this simple nature story. She loved pulling the tabs and making the frog jump or the snail slither but her favorite page featured three rabbits hopping up from the burrows. We had recently learned the "Little Bunny Foo Foo" song and, since this spread also included a find the field mouse section, it fit perfectly to combine the book with the song.
